{Meet the Locals} Cyber Monday at Pure Citizen

In my search for all things good and green over the last year, I was the Daniel-Son of the eco product world, vacillating between unenlightened to understanding {Mr. Miyagi was so right: You learn plenty. Not all is as seems.}.

Sometimes my head would spin from the sheer amount of information I was taking in regarding our myriad choices as conscious consumers. But the truth is, every day I felt a bit more empowered because everyday I was bit more informed.

Some products and garment brands are scrubbed clean {meaning every step of the process is good for the earth, the producers, and the consumers} and everybody's happy! Others are green-washed. This leaves many scratching their heads.

But then we conveniently collide with an e-venue that has done all of the homework for us, carefully labeled each and every product, and now shares their expansive pantry of pure products via an online shop that's easy to use and easy on the pocketbook {their logo hosts a cheery pink heart, the cherry on top}.

Amy saw a growing need for a green sale site, a necessary resource and a powerful tool to reach customers interested in clean products and eco fashion {I am loving the recycled vintage sari bracelets from Sewn Green, a company that plants a tree for every purchase made}. Pure Citizen is a flash sale site that features 3 day sales from ethical companies. You can find items up to 70% off from companies that are fair trade, organic, cruelty free, and eco-conscious.

Alongside the well-researched items, you'll be introduced to the activists, advocates, and causes supported by your purchase. I'm really crazy about the the colorful icons created by the Pure Citizen crew. You can search by category or just shop around and be pleasantly surprised by all the goodness: vegan, cruelty-free, ethically made, organic, made in the USA and more. Use the colorful labels to guide your shopping experience.

Head on over to the organic party at purecitizen.com!
