Good Socks: Part I

This week were taking a trip down hosiery lane. I couldn't wait to share today's eco brand PACT, founded by do-gooder + overachiever Jeff Denby and his modern day A Team {you can learn more about the daft crew of Vivienne Westwood-loving, volunteering, 3-minute breath-holding phenoms here}.

I'm a sock girl {stripes, polka dots, anklets, knee highs, I'll take them all} so when the gals at Chicago's Green Genes boutique introduced me to this line of organic lovelies, I was happy as can be. From our friends at PACT:
"PACT is a movement disguised at a clothing company. We are obsessed with a big idea: clothes that make the world a better place. Socks with soul, altruistic underwear, and other everyday essentials made with fabrics that feel good and go easy on the environment. The best part: with every purchase you help PACT make a positive change in our world. You change your underwear, together we change the world."
Check out this hilarious video* in which Jeff + his team break down their mission to build 100 urban gardens at schools across America. You can expect 1. to see Jeff dressed as a giant pea pod, 2. to learn what a "spider garden" is and 3. to see the most adorable children sharing why it's important to eat vegetables like mangoes*!

Learn more about their green manufacturing {sweat-shop free}, ingredient sources {GOTS-certified organic yarns}, and packaging {hooray for vegetable based inks} here

Wrap those green goodies up to go, PACT team.
